These Japanese modern confections are made in a long established chocolatier in Kyoto, who pioneered these modern Matcha sweets and has now been producing them for many years. The pastry chef has expert knowledge of and experience with creating these special Matcha crepes.
Plenty of Matcha harvested in Uji, Kyoto is included both in the crepe dough and white chocolate filling. Matcha Cornetta is baked delicately to bring out the sophisticated and elegant flavor of Matcha and its fresh green color.
Matcha Cornetta is made by a special machine, of which there are very few in Japan or elsewhere around the world, and it is very difficult to make, because the crepe dough is piled up in thin layers and baked elaborately. Therefore, the texture is very light, airy and flaky and makes your mouth full of joy. Adding to that, mellow and smooth taste of Matcha cream is inside the dough. Fresh green color will fascinate you and elegant aroma of Matcha will spread and linger in your mouth.
