Perhaps the finest Sencha we have tasted. The uniformity of the leaves and fresh aroma before brewing were noted and appreciated. The first brewing was deep in color, with a beautiful balance of bitterness and a mellow taste lingering in the mouth. The second brewing was even better and the final brewing as good as the first. This is a Sencha to savor alone or with a traditional sweet. But drinking it in a more informal manner with food, one would still be impressed. Five stars out of five! |
