I like this tea set very much. When you are trying to drink Gyokuro, the amount of tea and water are very important. Before, I used a glass measuring cup, but it takes twice as much tea. This set allows me to half the amount of tea. The small cups aid the slow appreciation of the tea. Visually, this set is simple and appealing. As you can see in the picture, the ceramic is very white, with the drawings in blue. It matches both European and Asian arsthetics. I have tried both Competition Pinacle Gyokuro and Kuradashi Gyokuro. The tea set definitely enhanced by enjoyment of them, and helped to appreciate the flavour.  |
