Bought a pair of these tea cups. Received the products well packaged! The texture fits the description well. I like the white grocs mixed in the gray clay providing contrast which also show through the green glaze. However, the color of the clay and the glaze is lighter than shown in the images. The clay color is more like dark gray than black. It looks more subtle than depicted in the images, specially images # 4,5 & 6 shows that the color of the glaze looks darker and greener and the clay also looks darker almost black, which would’ve been nicer. But, overall I am happy with the subtle look and roughness feel of these tea cups! The size of these tea cups are bigger than other tea cups (like the yellow one or the sakura one) purchased from HBK-an, which is good for holding it with both hands and holds more tea. I can see them being used every morning, any time of year, not only in Spring or Summer.  |
