Matcha Super Premium Stick Packs (30 x 2g/0.07oz)

Content: 30packs x 2g (0.07oz)

In response to hundreds of our customers' requests, we developed Matcha Super Premium Stick Packs. These Stick Packs are easy to carry anywhere, such as in your bag, so you can enjoy drinking genuine Matcha anywhere, anytime, freely.

These Stick Packs contain Matcha Super Premium, so they are suitable for the Ceremonial method (whisking). Each stick contains 2g / 0.07oz of Matcha, perfect for one bowl of Matcha. Our Stick Packs are also ideal for Bottle Shaking (see below), which is a more casual method of Matcha preparation. In this case, one stick is suitable for one bottle of Matcha. Of course, our Stick Packs also make it easy to make a cup of Matcha Latte at the café, or for making Matcha confections or other culinary items in the kitchen.

To be honest, Matcha Stick Packs can easily be expensive because of the costs of packaging, materials, and processing loss of Matcha. However, we were successful at dramatically reducing all of the costs, especially processing loss of Matcha, which requires special expertise in a wide range of Matcha production.

Each leaf for this item is specially selected and carefully picked by our farmers' skilled hands. Our Matcha Super Premium is carefully grown in the shade for 20 to 30 days before harvest by the way of "Tana" which requires skillful technique and great care. Excellent noble aroma is created by the shaded from sunlight of the "Tana" technique.

Matcha Stick Packs are easy to carry anywhere, such as in your bag, so you can enjoy drinking genuine Matcha anywhere, anytime, freely, and for all purposes, including whisking, bottle shaking, café, kitchen, and so on.

How to Prepare

This can be prepared both by the Ceremonial method (whisking) and by the Bottle Shaking method. For the Ceremonial method, click here . For the Bottle Shaking method, check below.

Bottle Shaking Method:
- Put a stick of Matcha (2g) into a PET plastic bottle, canteen, or anything with a capacity of approximately 500ml (17.6fl oz) and a lid.
- Pour 200ml - 350ml (7.04 fl oz - 12.3fl oz) of cool or room-temperature water (*) into the plastic bottle or other container.
- Shake the plastic bottle quickly and boldly 10 to 20 times.
- Drink directly from the bottle.
- If drinking at intervals, shake the plastic bottle each time just before drinking. Please consume within a few hours.

(*) Do NOT pour hot water into the bottle. It is dangerous as it can make the bottle inflate. Use only cool or room-temperature water.

The Bottle Shaking method is a casual preparation technique by which you can enjoy drinking genuine Matcha anywhere, anytime, freely. For the Bottle Shaking method we usually recommend entry grade of Ceremonial and Culinary grade Matcha. Ceremonial high grade Matcha has a good flavor even when prepared by using the Bottle Shaking method, though it is preferable to prepare high grade Matcha by whisking with the bamboo Chasen.

Matcha

Matcha, or powdered green tea, has a wonderful aroma, silky froth, and rich, mellow taste. High quality Matcha such as ours, is not bitter but smooth and mellow. As one moves up the scale toward the top grade of Matcha, the color becomes a more vivid green and the flavor becomes even more noble, smooth and mellow.
Matcha is made from new tea leaves that have been carefully grown under in the shade for 20 to 30 days before they are harvested, steamed and dried. Much Theanine, which is the source of its sweet mellow taste and noble aroma, is created in tea leaves by shaded from sunlight.
The dried leaves are then ground with a traditional stone mortar and pestle, called a Hikiusu.
Unlike tea leaves, where one drinks an infusion made from the leaves, Matcha is consumed in its entirety, so you can directly ingest the whole beneficial constituents of Matcha.
