| Review | Woah! I didn’t know what to expect when trying this. It is compared to gyokuro, but I’m not a fan of gyokuro. I like matcha, but the preparation is a bit too time consuming for me. Tasting this tencha is like matcha, but without the hassle. It is fresh and vegetal compared to sencha’s savory grassy notes. It is a bit more astringent than I’m used to, but not too much. I will be keeping this selection on my radar for when it comes back around next year! |
