| Review | Although I can't compare it to matcha, given the difference in consistency and mouth feel. I'd say the taste of TENCHA is closer in flavor to gyokuro than to sencha: it is a quiet and mellow flavor similar to gyokuro and, perhaps, a bit smoother than sencha. I'd have to say that all of teas from Hibiki-An are EXCELLENT, even compared to those teas that I drank when living in Japan for one year! |
