| Review | I have been ordering my Sencha and Mach at Hibiki-an for many, many years. Life without Hibiki-an’s Sencha and Macha is hard to imagine for me. It is an honored daily routine I am looking forward to waking up each morning. I typically order the House Matcha (#1540), and the House Sencha (#1310). The quality is consistent and outstanding. I don’t know if I am committing some kind of ‘green tea sin’, but I routinely mix a little Macha with my Sencha. I love that taste. Hibiki-an’s service and attentiveness is completely, over the top, exceptionally good. One of my orders took a long time to arrive. I followed up by emailing Hibiki-an. Hibiki-an confirmed that my order had long been shipped, and that it could be held up at U.S. customs for some reason. Which obviously is beyond Hibiki-an’s control. Guess what? Hibiki-an offered to ship that order again at their own cost! I thankfully declined the offer. I don’t think it is Hibiki-an’s responsibility to compensate for custom’s ( government’s) shortcomings. The way Hibiki-an handled the incident was extremely efficient, attentive, and outstandingly generous. |
