Review My order arrived yesterday (May 21,) in its beautifully decorated packaging. I had to try this one out first as I am unfamiliar with its blend. It did not disappoint for my first spring experience courtesy of our friends from Japan. Opening it up at had that very similar refreshing green fragrance left signified its freshness. It brewed to a very mild grenish yellow color and tasted relaxing, mellow, fresh, with just the right balance of sweetness and strength. This would be a very good tea for somebody who is not familiar with Japanese green tea to try first.

The second steep was just as good, if not better, as the first. I would definitely not describe this as brisk and I think of it as more of an afternoon tea. I used more water (300 mL) and steeped for a little bit longer (90 seconds) for the second time. Perfect.

Having ordered and tasted many teas, this would be a very good starter tea.
