Review I totally ADORE Hibiki-An's Gyokuro Karigane Super Premium. It has a beautiful sweetness and subtle notes of green and a hint of citrus. It has a pale golden color. My picture shows a little bit of 'sediment' even after using a strainer but it's totally undetectable when you drink it. I am not a fan of super hot teas so this is right up my alley. I was first introduced to Gyokuro via this Karigane Super Premium. It has a mixture of high grade sencha with the veins and stems of higher quality Gyokuro teas like Super Premium, Pinnacle, Kuradashi. This mixture of veins and stems from the different types of Gyokuro is (in my opinion) what makes this tea taste extra special and gives it a bit of a different flavor. I really love this tea a lot. In fact, I tasted the Gyokuro Superior AFTER tasting the Karigane and the Karigane is my hands down favorite!! Will have to get more before it sells out! Try it, you won't be disappointed!
