I wondered how Kuro Raku could be improved upon. This bowl is smaller, and more elegant. The glaze flows in layers, which you can see. It is quite shiny, as the name indicates It fits the hand very well. There are also indentations where the fingers can rest. I think the bare clay is coated, to protect it from getting dirty. The bowl warms well. This is my first time using this bowl. I felt very close to it. I will write more later. |
