| Review | The Aka Raku was a chawan I had been looking to buy for a long time after I got my first chawan and got into matcha about a decade ago. I finally bought it, and I am thrilled by it. It has such a beautiful visual aesthetic, both in shape and in glaze. When preheated, it feels very good to the touch and also retains the matcha temperature very well. I highly recommend the Aka Raku to anyone who wants to step up from a more generic matcha experience. Also, Hibiki-an has extremely good customer service which really adds to my tea adventures. |
