Review (Im quite new to green tea. Especially Japanese. So im certainly not an expert. This is my first sencha/shincha)

Upon opening the bag i get a strong and pure umami oceany scent. Very clear and elegant. The leaves themselves are quite beautiful. Very deeply green. I've steeped this according to the included parameters in a gaiwan and yeah the description is quite accurate. A beautiful mellow and harmonious flavor. Umami at the front, next a sort of minerality permeates the mouth. The slight bitterness isn't really perceivably bitter. It balances the sweetness. The mild astringency also accomplishes this. The flavor lingers in the mouth much longer than any tea I've had. You can truly feel the essence of japanese tea processing and general food culture in this tea. 8/10 for me.
