Review This is my first ever Raku ware and I am very happy to have purchased it and added to my tea ware collection. The curves of the bowl fit my hands very well and the black glaze has a warm feeling when held. I really enjoy drinking my matcha from this bowl and makes my tea time more enjoyable and relaxing. I highly recommend this beautifully simple and elegant chawan for those who are just starting out in their tea practice. It is worth the small investment and is a good entry level Raku chawan. It still impresses both are novice and connoseurs alike.
