Sencha Pinnacle (40g/1.41oz)

Review 2015 Sencha Pinnacle is of longer, less uniform cut than last year's, so not as evenly silky and beautiful. Is this because of a difference in leaf size at harvest? Optimum processing to fit this year’s profile? If anyone can tell me, I’d love to hear. This year’s dry leaf is dark pine-green and long. Scent: intensely vegetal with slight salt; fresh; light hint of floral, pre-lemon. Tea: mellow vegetal with pleasing touch of astringency, followed by delicate floral, pre-lemon notes that open out in the aftertaste. Beautiful, as always! We are so fortunate to have these teas.
