|Review||I enjoyed this tea -- a wonderful fragrance and flavor and color. A very fresh feeling. Then I accidentally forgot that I still had some remaining in a tea cannister. (I had been busy drinking Hibiki-an's matcha and Hibiki-an's gyokuro karigane.) Several months went by, and when I discovered the remaining fukamushi premium, it had been at least 6 months since I opened the package. I realized that perhaps the fragrance and taste would have deteriorated. However, I had read the descriptions here on Hibiki-an's site of how to make make tea with a cold brew method, and also with an ice method. It was summer, and it was hot and humid, so I put the tea in a Japanese-made pitcher with built-in strainer, and filled the pitcher with ice. As it melted, I added more ice, and then more. The result was unbelievably and deeply flavorful and invigorating. Like nothing I had experienced before. After that I tried the cold brew method on the same (used) tea leaves -- I filled the pitcher with cold water on the same tea leaves at least 6 more times. They just kept producing wonderful cold tea again and again. I've been drinking green tea for more than 35 years, but I've learned so much in the last year from Hibiki-an's amazing website.|
