The first time I became aware of kuradashi was because Hibiki-an. It has an amazing flavor. Amazing. I look forward to this time of year, and the arrival of kuradashi, the hidden tea. I recommend it.

From my first visit to Hibiki-an's website, I thought the Manten items were beautiful. And with this purchase I have completed my set. The white exposes the green of Hibiki-an tea beautifully.

Mild and pleasant - This tea has a lighter taste. If you are new to Japanese green tea, this may be a good place to start.

I love fukamushi, and this is my first time tasting Hibiki-an's fukamushi. It is very good. The amazing "green" taste with hints of sweetness. It will not disappoint you!

I don't usually use a sandglass/timer when brewing my tea, but when making some of the more costly teas I thought i would do so. Wanting to get the best flavor, with brewing times suggested by others. Great little timer, at a very nice price.

this was the first time i have tasted kuradashi gyokuro super premium,and i must say it is amazing. the first scent of the brewed tea in the cup,is so rich and unique...as well as the taste. i encourage anyone to try it :)

As I have described other manten items,I like pure and simple things very much. So of course,I needed to have the manten yuzamashi added to my manten kyusu and yunomi. I do have some very old and more decorated Japanese tea sets,and study Chado also - but simple brightn...(more)

I had been looking for a true white kyusu for somtime,and discovered this one at hibiki-an. It is a beautiful pure white. It is modern,yet classic old design - and I love the side handle of kyusu...as well as the lovely shades of green that pour from the spout.

I purchased a few of these yunomi some time ago,and am purchasing more. I think that they are indeed modern and classic. I too prefer white as a background for my green tea - the green is beautiful in a white cup. A very nice shaped cup,at a very good cost.
