I usually don't buy so expensive teas but I got this one as an exception for my birthday and I am very satisfied with it! Really rich and flavourful taste, one of the best that I tried till now.

A beautiful deep golden nectar with a powerful freshness and a huge amount of catechin (tannin) leaving a very comfortable lasting aftertaste of a warm astringent kind .
Superb on a hot day sitting in an armchair watching the insects buzzzzing around in the low sunshin... (more)

This is definitely the best Sencha I have ever tasted and I won't drink any other Sencha (except for Hibiki-an's Fukamushi) than this Pinnacle Sencha! When I have this Tea, I feel refreshed, energetic yet calm, just plain happy. It is almost sparkling in sensation in ar... (more)

I have done a few reviews after ordering like a kid in a candy store. Once again, Sencha Pinnacle scores big!
It is such a special tea so I wanted to prepare it for just the right reason and that was The Queen's Diamond Jubilee here in the UK. Fitting that this is ... (more)

Being a serious tea-enthusiast, my first two purchases from Hibiki-an where the Gyokuro Pinnacle and Sencha Pinnacle, grown in Uji.
I will not try to elaborate on the painstaking endeavor necessary to produce such a extraordinary product, as Hibiki-an already explain... (more)

I always thought that Asamushi Sencha was bitter and lacked the deep aroma of Fukamushi Sencha. However, I must admit that this tea is surprisingly good! The aroma is nice and mild, but its lack of bitterness enhances its fragrance. I am very impressed with Hibiki-an's ... (more)

Even as a big green tea drinker, I somehow never got a chance to try Sencha Pinnacle.
Well, I finally tried it last week, and it is simply superb, the best Sencha I ever tasted. When I tasted this, I realized how much I am missing, even in a large number of other good ... (more)

I was disappointed in this tea the first time I prepared it. I followed Mr. Yasui's instructions to the letter, brewing for a total of one minute at 80C (176F), and found it extremely bitter (in fact, I could taste nothing else). I decided to drop the water to 75C (167F... (more)
