After working in my garden I wanted to take time out and open my new shipment of tea. This tea is heavenly filled with the subtle leaf taste that is clean, full of body and aroma. It is a tea to spend the time to savor, enjoy and dream.

The first of the new years tea. Apparently, this was a perfect year weather wise. The colour of the brewed tea is amazing. It photographs yellow, but it really shimmers to green. 10/10 for colour. I usually use 10g of tea. That's too much for this tea. ... (more)

My words alone aren’t sufficient to review this product. A wise sage once said, “The first cup kisses away my thirst, and my loneliness is quelled by the second. The third gives insight worthy of ancient scrolls, and the fourth exiles my troubles. My body beco... (more)

It's a wonderful tea, do not be afraid to experiment with brewing temperature and time. I prefer to brew this tea with lower temperature 70 Celsius and 90 to 120 seconds. There is no right or wrong here; it's just my personal preference for this tea.

As I sip this sencha I wonder if it is the same as the tea people enjoyed when Sohen Nagatani produced the first green tea, by steaming and drying the leaves, 280 years ago. I imagine all the pickers, out amongst the tea bushes in their colourful clothes, carefully sele... (more)

I found this to be milder than the Super Premium. It's an excellent tea. I would suggest using these hand picked leaves in a smoothie, after you are done making tea.

The tea is a true delight, and it's not just about the tea, it's about the experience of enjoying it. I'm amazed at how just looking at the golden color, smelling the aroma and of course, immerse in the noble taste could transform my state immediately. No... (more)

This sencha is a delight! It is perfectly balanced and has a subtle, smooth and refreshing flavor. It has taken me a long time to find a perfect sencha, and Hibiki-an has done it! If you're in the mood for green tea but gyokuro is too bold for you right that minute... (more)
