Very good Hojicha. A mixture of leaves and twigs. The first cup is the best. Roasted flavour. I drink with something sweet. Empty cup smell! Second cup, I add sugar.

I love the nutty flavor of this tea. Its mellow aroma and full taste are excellent. I also enjoy this tea when I do not want a lot of caffeine. Its perfect for drinking after dinner or at any time during the day.

I bought this not knowing what to expect since I've only had experience with sencha and gyokuro until now. I was pleasantly surprised, it's smooth with just a hint of something sweet. I'll gladly be making this a staple in my ordering process from now on.
