Matcha Pinnacle (30g/1.06oz) Reviews

Review It is too bad that the rating system only goes up to good because this Matcha was GREAT!! I have tried a couple of different Matcha teas from others and they ranged from ok to so bad I had to ask myself "what is that is that is it really for human consumption?". Due to my research and love of green tea I already knew that Matcha is the healthiest of all teas because you are consuming the whole leaf. I suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome and I do not like coffee or black tea, but I still need a pick me up. After reading dozens of article I figured that I would find the best Matcha if it comes from a farm in Kyoto, and the plants are one that have been passed down from generation to generation. Knowing this I began looking for a family owned farm in Kyoto and to my good fortune I found Atsushi Yasui's Hibiki-an.com site. I was so lucky and I knew it! I order the Matcha Pinnacle Grade wanting to try the "top shelf" of Matchas and it arrived faster than I expected. Needless to say the moment I had this treasure of mine in hand I was warming up my Matcha bowl and preparing for something special. Well I was not let down. You simply have not tried a true Matcha until you have tried this. Mellow, smooth and you feel at one with nature when you taste the pleasing grassy notes of this tea. It is humbling to think that someone has worked so hard and as one with nature to bring to others a tea of such high quality. I feel as though I have a little bit of Japan (Land of my Dreams) right here in my home. Thank You to the whole family and staff of Hibiki-an.com for this wonderful tea.
