[Limited] Houjicha EMAKI (modern Japanese confection) Reviews

Review	Nice soft crunch in texture to the layered shell. Creamy filling tastes mildly sweet with a mellow roasted tea aroma that is surprisingly a lot softer than I expected for a houjicha flavor. A regular houjicha tea would probably be a lot more aromatic than this snack, but the low sweetness of this snack makes it easy to eat in larger quantity. The more you eat, the stronger its 'roasted' aroma will appear on the palate, along with just a hint of earthy-bitter note expected from a heavily roasted tea. To better appreciate its flavor, you can't stop at just one.
