[Limited] KORO GAKI (dried persimmon) Reviews

 Out of Stock

Author Rudi Hermawan   (Indonesia)
Review Appearance has no white crystallized fructose coating so it shows its true natural color, which is a reddish orange-brown.
Taste is not that sweet, which indicates no added sweetener used.
Flavor is pleasantly natural with a sticky firm texture to the flesh.
There is no strong aroma to these dried persimmons, and due to its naturally low sweetness they can easily be enjoyed as they are.
If they are to be an accompaniment to tea, best go with dark teas or roasted teas or even oolong teas, because I find that when paired with japanese green teas the natural fruitiness of persimmon heightens the vegetal note of the green teas.
I for one prefer to enjoy them as they are to let the natural flavor shines.
A perfect snack.
