This yunomi from Atarashi-san is a well-thought out piece of Iga pottery. The gentle curves in running along the cup allows for a firm grip. The rustic red contrasts beautifully with the light green and shiny glaze. The design is a reminder of the concept of wabi-sabi, and appreciating the perfect in the seemingly 'imperfect' and asymmetrical design of the yunomi. Highly recommend!
