Soft and delicate flesh in texture just melts in the mouth. Semi-sweet in its natural fruity taste with a mellow tartness from the apple vinegar. All of the individual preserved plums still have a single large seed/pit in them. They are addictive, impossible to stop at just one piece. I think they will be a suitable accompaniment to Japanese green teas, as well as light oolong teas and strong tannin black teas. However, the subtleness in taste makes it a snack best to be enjoyed on its own, to fully appreciate and enjoy its natural flavor to the fullest.
