The 2023 Gyokuro Pinnacle from Hibiki-An is excellent. It is one of the best I have tried. The flavour is full with a beautiful and delicate after-taste. I highly recommend this tea!

Because of the pandemic and shipping, I've been drinking another stores Sencha since spring.
So it's good to see gyokuro's green colour back in the cup. It's been a while!
Hibiki-an's top level tea is much milder than others.
Actually, my sencha has been getti... (more)

Mellow and smooth: this is the perfect tea to unwind in the afternoon and also has enough caffeine to kick-start the morning. Between this and Sencha Pinnacle, all my tea tastes are covered.

Hibiki-an's Gyokuro pinnacle is in my opinion the best Gyokuro I've ever tested.
It is mellow and gently persisting until the third infusion. I appreciate the efforts of Hibiki-an to produce this high grade green tea, I will buy this Gyokuro tea agli.

The Gyokuro Pinnacle tea from Hibiki-an is not just a beverage, it is an occasion. The mellow grassy aroma beckons to a sip while encouraging a pause to soak it in. Then the first sip is rewarded by a smooth but deep, sweet taste that calms the soul. The tea seems parti... (more)

This Gyokuro survived 4 full steeps with my favorite parameters:

Steep 1: room-temp for 14 minutes
Steep 2: 60c for 90 seconds
Steep 3: 65c for 90 seconds

Hibiki-an's Gyokuro Pinnacle exceeded my expectations for premium green tea. I have had several Gyokuro in the States, and none compare to Hibiki-an's Pinnacle. I was in Uji, Japan recently and was served a sublime green tea at a high-end pottery studio, and I believe i... (more)

This is an extraordinary tea, with a rich flavour, not at all bitter, and a soft green colour.
The extra effort required to produce this tea, shade-grown for the last 20-30 days before harvest, and the care taken in hand-picking the leaves are reflected in the quality ... (more)
