Since summer is almost over, I feel it's time to review one of my favourite summertime teas. It gets so hot sometimes that hot tea just won't do. That's when I turn to fukamashi. I find it brews the nicest with cold water and it refreshes the palette on a hot day.

One of my absolute favourite teas. I find this to be an excellent balance between the sweetness of a Gyokuro and the bitterness of a Sencha. I usually brew at 60°C to make this tea a bitter closer to the taste of Gyokuro, but without the risk of making it overly sweet, ... (more)

I found this tea very good tasting! The flavour really lingered in my mouth and the colour looks really beautifull, really vivid and bright indeed.

Refreshing, full-bodied and full-flavoured taste. When steeped with a very short steeping time, it is sweet without a hint of astringency. In my opinion, this is better than most Gyokuros I have ever tasted. 4.5 out of 5 to leave room for the super premium.

This sencha fukamushi is even richer than the fukamushi superior. If life is more stressful than usual this premium tea with its mellow flavor and beautiful green color is my tea of choice.

The aroma is very fresh, color a beautiful green, and the taste is amazing!!! It has the astringency of sencha, but a wonderful mellow sweetness that is different, but still great after three steeps. I loved it so much that I had to order more.

Sencha fukamushi is wonderful for those of you who cant decide between gyokuro and sencha. It's definitely my favorite sencha, with a slightly more grassy/sweet taste compared to regular sencha. More like gyokuro but a bit less expensive. Delicious.

I love the smell of Fukamushi in the morning (I couldn't resist) I enjoy Sencha and Gyokuro but Fukamushi is my favorite..it's like the best of both worlds to me.
The Premium is wonderfully mellow with an excellent finish . ..lighter than the Super Premium ( which is... (more)
