KIJICAN means a plain steel can without decoration. It is often used by tea merchants and tea manufactures. The simple design that utilizes the texture of the material is functional and does not detract from the appearance of the room in which it is used. It also has a tin inner lid to prevent deterioration of the tea leaves. Although not handmade, they are reasonably priced for that reason and ideal for daily use.
