This Yunomi is simple yet expresses the beauty of flowers, which the people of Japan have cherished since ancient times. SAKURA cherry blossoms decorate the inside and outside of the teacup and the creamy color glaze not only adds accent to the cherry blossoms but also to the unique shape.

IRODORI of this name means color or spice and SAKURA means cherry blossoms in Japanese. Three colors of SAKURA cherry blossoms, which are white, blue and pale pink, elegantly bloom inside and outside the teacup. Each petal is painted with great care; the golden lines of the petals and the red dots of its stamens add noble accent. The veins of the SAKURA green leaves are decorated in golden color, or carefully scratched, making each leaf unique.

GOHONDE, which are colorful patches of orange, also add warmth to the teacup. It is impossible to fully control the contrasting density of GOHONDE, so that GOHONDE is a little different in each work.

One of the focal points of this Yunomi is its unique shape. The rim is beautifully flared, the middle of the side is full, and the bottom is tucked. The dark brown color of the iron glaze is decorated around the rim, which accents the teacup. The curve from the rim to the base is not only beautiful, but also lovely to hold in your hands. The lower body is scraped randomly, and fits with the fingertips, feeling as if we stroke the soft petals of cherry blossoms.

The green or yellow color of Japanese green tea will enliven this teacup even more, once the tea is poured into the cup. We are certain that this Yunomi will enrich your tea time.
