Though each of our Superior grade teas are usually sold in 200g packages, the Superior Tea Tasting Set is composed of three 100g packages. Therefore this set is suitable for those who would like to do a taste test to learn which is their favorite tea, or who would like to enjoy less quantity of some kinds of tea. This tea set is especially perfect for those who are new to green tea to learn the differences between each type of tea.

Gyokuro Superior: 100g/3.53oz
Carefully grown in the shade for twenty days before harvesting, Gyokuro has several unique features: an elegant aroma, a sweetness of taste, and a light green colour. You are sure to enjoy the sweet taste and smooth flavor of Gyokuro.

Sencha Superior: 100g/3.53oz
Sencha contains more of the beneficial nutrient catechin than other green teas, because it is grown in full sunlight, thus it becomes yellowish green in colour. Sencha tastes gently astringent and smells wonderfully fresh. We are certain you will love the refreshing, astringent aroma and smooth flavor of Sencha.

Sencha Fukamushi Superior: 100g/3.53oz
Fukamushi Sencha is steamed a little heavier, and has a more mellow taste than Basic Sencha. And Sencha Fukamushi Superior is blended with Gyokuro tea leaves. You will enjoy the unique mellow taste and refreshing aroma – a perfect mixture of the special advantages of both Sencha and Gyokuro.
