It is not everyday that one can choose to buy such an expensive piece of pottery. It took some time to gather the reason and resource to trust that a supplier would be offering a genuine chawan of this quality. I have never been left disappointed by anything that Hibiki-an has offered. My acquisition of this Kuro Makugusuri is no exception. For those who can appreciate this elegant pottery it is very rewarding to own. Your appreciation of this chawan will captivate every tea moment and keep it special, reverent, and personally yours. There is no doubt that the workmanship and level of skill and knowledge that created this piece took many years. One can only hope and pray that this quality will continue to pass down through many more generations into the future.
