Nutty flavoured green tea and has a little bit of a sweet aftertaste. Pretty pleasant! This is one of my favorite tea. Will repurchase again soon! 5 stars!

I waited several years to try Hibiki-an's genmaicha b/c this type of tea is usually rather low quality. But Hibiki-an uses a delicious grade of tea, and b/c the rice isn't over-roasted, the mix has a natural nutty flavor. It's a must-have for me now. ... (more)

i thought i would try the Genmaicha here and it's the best i've had. Hibiki An puts more effort in making their genmaicha as there was no popped rice i saw and they don't put too much roasted rice like some other brands do and is well balenced. This tea h... (more)

After some experimentation with temperature, steeping time, and amount of leaf, I can say I am very happy with this genmaicha. If you use too much tea, or steep at too hot a temperature you will find a bitter brew. I tried using a gong-fu style technique where I use... (more)

The tea produces clean golden color brew with very distinct yet pleasant taste.The fried rice taste combines great with the taste of tea and neither dominates too much. I recommend this Genmaicha.

If you like nutty/roasted rice flavor combined with fresh and astringent Sencha taste then this is a good quality Genmaicha to get. Consecutive infusions reveal various tastes – try for yourself to find out if Genmaicha is for you.

As a rule, because I enjoy the taste of tea from quality leaves, I dislike flavoured teas. But amazingly, the taste of roasted rice grains and green tea blend very well, to provide a most stimulating and unusual flavour. Genmaicha is the proverbial cup that cheers - goo... (more)

i remember drinking this in japan a long time ago and didnt know the name of the tea..So I am pleased to find it from hibiki tea farm. Just brewed my first two cups and adore the nutty taste. I think this one is my favourite so far, though i am next going to test matcha... (more)
