| Delightful and satisfying flavor transitions. First infusion. Medium thick. Umami, not as heavy as pure gyokuro leaf. Woodear mushrooms. Salted creamed corn. Moving to refreshing. Second infusion. The sweetness bursts out of nowhere, but balanced. Crystallized cane suga... (more)

| I can’t say enough good things about your tea. You produce such great quality tea. I really love how you respect the entire plant and make use of all parts of the plant; don’t have any Waste. I like the photos of your tea farm and there has not been a single purchase I’... (more)

| This tea is delicious. Sweet, brothy and smooth. The Umami is so strong that on the first brew, I let a cup cool down and it had almost tasted as if I sprinkled some MSG. So drink it warm if thats not your cup of tea (it definitely is mine). Further brews were still giv... (more)

| This is more than an alternative to gyokuro; it is excellent in its own right. The stems add sweetness to the brew and more depth to the flavour. Because stems are tougher than leaves, the karigane will transform in character across every brew; it is in the later brews ... (more)

| This "Gyokuro Karigane Premium" is a very light delicate tea with notes of fresh cut (Tea)Leaves, a smell of Dried Strawberry and a very light Astringency.
It has a refreshing Herbal quality with a faint memory of Parsley but in a good way.
Also the dus... (more)

| This green tea is exquisite. It is a full-fledged leaf with a lovely green color. When brewed as directed, it imparts a floral, earthy and bright flavor that changes with every brew. I steep at least five times and it gets better with every batch. It is luxury in a cup!

| I was really blown away by this premium grade gyokuro karigane. Just like the dry leaf fragrance, it brews into a pronounced, perfectly balanced citrusy-nutty flavor. Its sweet nuttiness actually reminds me of anko, enveloped by a tangerine-like brightness. The leaves t... (more)
