This tea is everything it promises and more. Deep Spring green color and aroma like newly mowed grass, mellow taste and a touch of astringency around the edge of the tongue. I made three infusions and could probably have made another as none of the qualities of the tea ... (more)

This tea really does have a great balance between the umami flavors of gyokuro and the more vegetal layers of sencha. It's a rich and dimensional brew that is probably the best tea I've had so far (I've ordered quite a few from hibiki-an already as well a... (more)

Ladies and Gentleman. Hats off!. Best Fukamushi I had for years. Fragrant and sweet. Nicely green and balanced. Full bodied yet gentle on stomach. Just what high end tea should be. My Arita yaki are singing again...... Thanks for job done right. Kornel.

"Saemidori breed has a naturally unique, sweet and smooth taste..." Perhaps best expressed by hibiki-an's own description of the Saemidori breed, this is possibly one of the sweetest and smoothest shincha...or sencha I have ever had. It is remarkable i... (more)
