I bought this tea just to see if it was as good as they said it was. This tea has so much flavor and it is not bitter or harsh. The smell and taste go hand in hand. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a tea with a flavor that you can't buy in a grocery store... (more)

This is by far the most delicious genmaicha I've ever tasted!!! Serve this delicious and mellow tea in a white tea cup to enjoy the fascinating green (such a fresh hue, almost flourescent, that I've never experienced with any other green tea) of the liquor.... (more)

This is the second of my order for Genmaicha Matcha-iri. In Thailand we use to good smell and good taste of brown rice in our food on Northeast of Thailand. This tea make me feel good and relax like Sencha. Excellent you have to try! ...Believe me.

It's a great tea. Be careful not to brew it too hot. Must use the correct water temperature or it will be bitter.

Hibiki-an makes the best Genmaicha Matcha-iri I have ever had. I don't know if it's appropriate to use the word "fresh" to describe this tea, but certainly it is full of vibrancy, and clearly hasn't been sitting on a shelf somewhere for years b... (more)
