| Sencha fukamushi is wonderful for those of you who cant decide between gyokuro and sencha. It's definitely my favorite sencha, with a slightly more grassy/sweet taste compared to regular sencha. More like gyokuro but a bit less expensive. Delicious.

| Definately [Try Once] ... because you'd want more after you've tried it once. Excellent fresh, sparkling, non-bitter taste. Splendid! I hope I'd be able to buy it through the year round as it is irresistable!

| I would also agree with the comment before that brewing Sencha Fukamushi Superior longer than 40 seconds doesn't make the tee much bitter. It is just important that the water is not too hot. I really enjoy this tea and I can just recommend it!

| I had never tried Fukamushi until I discovered this site--and I lived in Japan for 5 years! Fukamushi is wonderful in every way. It was a delightful sweetness when brewed as directed, but I must disagree with the warning that you'll get bitter tea if you brew it f... (more)

| Great tea at a very affordable price. The balance of astringency and sweetness is very good and I have no hesitation in recommending this. I wasn't disappointed and would most definitely buy this again.

| By now you have read over and over again how superior these teas are from Hibiki-an and the superior quality of service given to us by Mr. Yasui and his staff. Imagine my relief when I finally opened my package of Sencha Fukamushi Superior tea (12 months later) I was s... (more)

| Just recieved this May's Shincha of Sencha Fukamushi and I am very impressed. This tea definately has both Gyokuro and Sencha characteristics which differ with each infusion. The first infusion has a beautiful color and aroma with a classic gyokuro taste, plus a li... (more)

| The new improved Sencha Fukamushi Superior surpassed my expectations. It is difficult to choose between this and the sencha superior as my favorite of all. If you have not tried this tea, I would highly suggest it, you will be glad you did. Thank-you Hibiki-an.

| I have been a strictly Gyokuro customer until now. I tried the Sencha Fukamushi Superior and was very pleasantly surprised to find out that it tastes very similar to the Gyokuro teas. I am absolutely hooked on Hibiki-an teas and will be placing my third order tonight.... (more)
