| I'll keep it simple
the best Sencha I've tasted, and a wonderfully refreshing drink either hot or as iced tea (made either with hot water, or, with cold water - therefore caffeine free)
highly recommended!

| I am a 60 year old man who has only been drinking quality tea on a regular basis for the last few years. I decided that I preferred Chinese teas overall....until I tasted the 2009 Farmers' Shincha. This is one of the finest teas that I have ever tasted. I know that... (more)

| The organic Sencha Premium is a delicious, vegetal tea, unlike any of the off-the-shelf blended varieties available locally. It has a more astringent character than the organic Gyokuro, but a wonderful contrast in flavor to the mellow softness of Gyokuro.

| The flavor of each infusion of this Sencha is fairly simple but it holds up to multiple infusions well and shows different flavors in each one. It starts out as a nice balance between fresh vegetal and buttery flavor and aroma with a faint pleasant bitterness similar to... (more)

| Absolutely delicious stuff.
Sweet, earthy aroma. Very light, hint of that vegetal taste in the perfect amount... it somehow manages to be simultaneously slightly sweet and slightly bitter coming in and going down which gives it superb balance. Very fresh tasting and... (more)

| The leaves have a wonderful floral scent, and the tea is mild, sweet, and easy to drink with a nice aftertaste. I prefer to brew this tea strong, with a lot of leaves (8g to 200 ml, 12g to 300 ml) but it can just as nicely be brewed a bit lighter, while retaining its s... (more)

| This is just delightful: a lifted, sweet, honeysuckle aroma and very pure, refined, etherial flavour that lingers on the palate and in the imagination. It's the first violin of the Hibiki-an tea orchestra!
