This is my 2nd japanese teapot. My first was a Kyusu (Black). This is more carefully crafted. Absolutely beautiful and the pattern feels very good in your hands. The spout is marginally smaller than the Kyusu so it pours a little slower, but that's not a bad thing.... (more)

I wanted to try better brewing methods for the wonderfully fine teas from Hibiki-an. I must say I thought maybe some of the reviews were overstated, but bought the kyusu anyway. They are all correct! This Kyusu is wonderful and it really does make the tea taste better.... (more)

This kyusu it is definitely a stunning piece of art, that besides brewing a marvellous tea is also a bless for the eyes. An excellent investment for those to whom the simple act of drinking green tea is, in fact, a daily ceremony.
