| Very lightweight, pours very cleanly and easy to rinse out afterwards. Love the craftsmanship on this one, simple but beautiful design with small details.

| What an elegant kyusu. Although simple in design, close inspection reveals the subtle incised design on its body. Most importantly, it holds a generous amount of tea and pours very cleanly.

| I have had my Hohryu Kyusu for nearly two years now and have been using it every day since. It is such a delicate, beautifully crafted Kyusu and a real treasure. Of coarse the only tea I brew in it comes from Hibiki-An, so every day I have my little piece of Japan that ... (more)

| This teapot is more beautiful than the pictures suggest. The craftsmanship is superb; the design and finish are intricate and flawless. My new favorite teapot.
Shipping was very quick and it was well packed to protect it from damage during shipping.
Thank you Hibi... (more)

| I just received this teapot and it’s well balanced in the hand. I’m not sure if it’s clay or the texturing but I did notice that it doesn’t seem as hot to the touch as porcelain. The highlights on the edges enhance the form.

| This Kyusu is of incredible quality. It hold the beautiful flavor of the Sencha in the earthen clay, and it truly is a work of art. Every morning I make Sencha in this Kyusu. Highly reccomend this. True artistry.

| During the time I had this brilliant teapot in my possession, it was the most used in my collection. It was the most versatile brewing vessel for different tea grades; fitted my hand like a glove, poured perfectly without dripping or clogging, and if you closed the air ... (more)

| I love my HOHRYU kyusu! When I first opened my box and held the kyusu, I felt like I was holding an ancient and precious treasure. It took me a couple of days of merely admiring and touching it before I dared to use it. Now that I got over my intimidation, I enjoy so mu... (more)
