Yuzamashi of this size is useful regardless of whether brewing green tea in the little Kyusu or the larger teapots from Hibiki-an.

I absolutely love this water cooler. I drink a lot of Gyokuro (love, love Hibikian Gyokuro teas) every day but I like to drink a few small cups at a time (rather than just one or two). So this is perfect for me. It also works for making larger mugs of tea. I will be buy... (more)

A nicely designed and useful item. No need for a thermometer or guess work. It really does cool the temperature as in accordance with the recommendations; depending on what kind of tea is being brewed. Beautifully packed as usual. Highly recommended! David

This item seemed like a bit of a luxury until I read the other reviews and finally got one. It really does make the process of water cooling to get the correct temperature much easier. I've already ordered a 2nd one for my desk at work.
