KOHZANJI Yunomi (handcrafted Teacup: 130ml)

|Review||This beautiful Kohzanji yunomi has recently arrived and I am currently having tea in it as I write (Hibiki-an tea of course!). This truly is one of those rare items that has to be experienced up close in order to appreciate the skill and craftsmanship that went into its production. The finish, balance, weight, feel and detail are all exceptional. Certainly a very special treasure and without question a yunomi of heirloom quality. It makes me happy just to look at it, and holding this yunomi one can feel a wonderful, intangible sense of Japanese history and tradition. This delicate but strong yunomi was also packed very well for its 11,150 kilometer journey (almost 7,000 miles) from Uji, Japan to its destination a little northeast of Washington DC in the United States, and arrived without delay or damage. Tea ware of exceptional quality and elegance, I would without reservation recommend this yunomi to anyone who enjoys and appreciates Japanese tea, history, culture and tradition.|
