FUROSHIKI Gift Celebration Tea Set

Our FUROSHIKI Gift Celebration Tea Set includes Golden Celebration Gyokuro and the traditional Japanese confectionary OHIGASHI. OHIGASHI is often served at Japanese tea ceremony and pairs very well with Japanese green tea. They are carefully wrapped with FUROSHIKI Japanese traditional wrapping fabric.

OHIGASHI is made from premium fine-grain Japanese sugar called WASANBON and shaped into flowers or other auspicious symbols of the four seasons of Japan. The various shapes and combinations, which express the four seasons in Japan, change almost every month. So, please note that the shapes and combinations can be different from the picture.

The combination of green tea with gold flakes makes a beautiful presentation. Gold is an ancient symbol of prosperity and welfare, and adds significance to any special occasion.

The FUROSHIKI wrapping fabric is of course reusable and perfect for wrapping anything from a gift to a Bento lunch box. It can also be used as a decorative wall hanging, table cloth, scarf, and so on. It depends on your idea. The FUROSHIKI, made of high-quality cotton, is 18.89 inches (48cm) square and is reversible (one side is red and the other side is green). It is made in Kyoto, Japan. The pattern is plum, a traditional auspicious omen, because plum is one of the first flowers to blossom in the spring.

We will also attach a colorful postcard inscribed with your personal message.
