How to Order

After choosing an item you would like to purchase, put it in your shopping cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button.

Items you place in your shopping cart can be removed at any time until you check out. If you are ready to check out, click the "Checkout" button. Then, please enter your shipping address, payment method, etc.

Payment Methods

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash or personal checks. We also accept Discover, which is authorized through PayPal.

Our checkout procedures are authorized through Cyber Source or PayPal. Cyber Source and PayPal are the most reliable account settlement companies in the US, and process our online credit card payments to provide secure transactions for our customers.

On your credit card statement, the charge will be under the name "Hibiki-an" or "PAYPAL* HIBIKI AN".
All transactions are settled on a US $ basis.

Gift Service

If you order a gift item in our 'Gifts' category, each gift will include a gift card inscribed with your special message to the gift recipient. If you like, please enter your message on the order screen.

All items in our 'Gifts' category include free shipping. And they are all wrapped in the traditional Japanese style.

And you are able to add up to five shipping addresses to your address book on our website.

Once you order, usually the gift will reach its destination in a week from Kyoto, Japan. The shipping time is different for each destination, depending on the postal service and customs clearance in each country. Therefore, we cannot know exactly what date the gift will be delivered. Please place your order in a timely manner to allow for shipping time.

Address Book

You are able to add up to ten shipping addresses to the address book on our website. It is useful for sending gifts to your friends and family.

You are able to add shipping addresses in two easy ways:
1) During the checkout process
You are able to add a new shipping address by changing the shipping address during checkout.
2) At your personal 'Address Book'
Login to your account from the navigation menu on the bottom left side of Hibiki-an's main page, then in the same location, click on 'My Account Info'. You can then click on the 'Address Book' button and go to your 'Address Book' where you can enter up to ten addresses.

Newsletter

Periodically, Hibiki-an sends out a special newsletter full of tips on green tea for health and nutrition, Japanese history and culture, information about new items, and general Hibiki-an news. You can subscribe or unsubscribe from our newsletter in your account on our website. Please read the section below for more information on how to subscribe or unsubscribe

Account Information

- You can add up to five shipping addresses to the address book on our website.
- You can see your order history.
- You can edit your Account Information including changing your password and subscribing (or unsubscribing) to our newsletter.

Changing Your Order

If you would like to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the item has already been shipped out, unfortunately we will not be able to change or cancel the order.

Privacy Policy

All information collected on our website is used only in order to provide products or services you've requested from Hibiki-an, and to improve our merchandise and services.

When you register, we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, and zip code. Hibiki-an collects information about your transactions with us. Hibiki-an automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, and the page you request. They are used only for business transactions of Hibiki-an and are highly confidential. Every transaction is secured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer). We don't store any cookie information on our server.

Hibiki-an does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you, except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Hibiki-an's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

Pricing Policy

We originally set all of our prices at very reasonable levels. Therefore it is possible that we may change the prices without advance notice due to fluctuations in the exchange rate, supply shortages, and so on.
