Whenever I am in the need for some really excellent green tea, I buy it at Hibiki-an! Yes, it is costly, but not expensive. I have bought many teas from Hibiki-an over the years, and never been disappointed in either the price-quality level nor in their impeccable s...(more)

This is a good sifter. And it is packaged in a way that avoids spreading the matcha around. Matcha tea stays put in the sifter as it is recessed about 2cm. The little, well-shaped "spoon" is the ideal partner for the sifter. Matcha needs a bit of help to go...(more)

Great whisk! Mine has been used for over a year, and it is still like new. This whisk makes a fine and thick foam used with for ex Hibiki-an´s House Matcha tea. I think I prefer the 120 bristle one to the 80 bristle one. I am getting the hang of whisking :-...(more)

I bought two bags of the Gyokuro Superior 200 grams tea, and in a few weeks I was all out of tea - it is a delicious tea! Drank it several time per day. It easily makes 2 infusions. even 3 if I add a little extra tea powder. Deep moss-green colour, very nice smell...(more)

Now, this matcha tea is something special! A wonderful matcha tea! The tea is not picky about brewing details but I try to follow Hibiki-an´s detailed instructions. I highly recommend this tea!

When I am in a bit of hurry or do not want to make tea the "right way", I have used these Gyokuro tea bags. The bags are so big! If one is used to Lipton´s tiny tea bags, these tea bags are twice or more in size! I make two infusions with them. This tea ...(more)

I drink matcha every day now that I received the House Matcha Large Bag. The tea powder has a nice aroma, is not that sensitive to water temperature and or infusion time. Using about two "spoons" of the tea by using the special utensil, it makes a very good...(more)

This wrapping is wonderful! Good print, soft material, thick. Feels like high quality. I also appreciated the one sheet of descriptions on different ways to use this wrapping for different types of gifts!

Interesting and rather exotic tea which I have not tried out before. Thus, I followed the excellent instructions on the package. The tea has a strong aroma of roasted tea, and the teaste is mild without any traces of bitterness. For me not being much of a darker tea dri...(more)

I really like these tea bags! Comparing Hibiki-an´s tea bags with a Lipton tea bag is like comparing a Hyuandi car with a Mercedez car! First, these bags are huge in comparison. Jam packed with green tea powdered leafs (of course I opened one up). Following the excel...(more)

These cups are really very nice! Not too small nor too big. I like the curved in shape as that will keep the tea boquet inside the cup until I drink the tea. Like wine glasses do. Cup edges are thin which I also like.--- No scratches or blemishes. Packaging was excel...(more)
