While Farmers' Shincha may miss the most delicate notes of it's cousins of more noble heritage, it's an excellent value to drink at work, where you do not have the best water and your tea equiptment - for low price it delivers the most.

The tea produces clean golden color brew with very distinct yet pleasant taste.The fried rice taste combines great with the taste of tea and neither dominates too much. I recommend this Genmaicha.

Beautiful thin walled tea cup, imperfect in wabi style with irregular surface, yet pleasant to look at and hold in both hands, so the tea could warm both hands in this cold weather.

This is the first high quality material Karigane I drunk. The dry tea-leaves (or, better said, tea-stems) vary from very light to very dark color. The tea is very light, very subtle with nice citric flavor. Nice to drink at late night, it freshes my senses yet does ...(more)

This is far the best genmaicha I ever had. I got 100 grams from Genmai-Houji Tasting Set and as soon I will drink it all, I will re-order this amazing tea!!
