May I express appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Kouzo Shimada for his splendid Chawan. It is wabi and sabi artfully expressed...a creative gift of valued beauty. The earthy texture and color enhances the spirit of the brushed enso which becomes multidimensional...within and along the outside of the bowl. Truly contributing to the graceful richness of the Chado experience! I respectfully bow and send best wishes to Shimada-san.
