This Kuro-raku matcha bowl is so beautiful! I was surprised when I received it in the mail yesterday because it was even more beautiful than in the picture. And it’s wonderful to drink matcha from. It has the appearance and texture of a large smooth piece of volcanic stone or heavy black obsidian glass. Kohraku Katayama is truly a fantastic artist! Also, it’s a great price. Usually, matcha bowls like this cost around $200. Thanks so much for having this item on your website! I hope to see more handcrafted ceramics like this in the future!
