Literally the best matcha I have ever tasted in my life! When I was in Tokyo in August 2007, matcha was sold in some department stores for like $50 for a small container. I thought maybe it was just the packaging, but didn't think it was worth that much to try it. Since I've ordered from Hibiki-an before and knew their quality is good, I decided to try their pinnacle matcha to see what the highest grade of matcha is like. Finally I understand what all the expense is all about. This is absolutely worth every cent. It is a beautiful dark vibrant green, so very fragrant, and absolutely delicious without any bitterness at all even when I drink it very strong. Amazing tea.
