Review:
The Gyokuro Pinnacle from Hibiki-an is very good. I've had other high quality gyokuro before and this is one of my favorites. I was a little wary at first because it did have a significant amount of stems in it but the taste was great. It is mellow and sweet and is enjoyable for at least three infusions. The first infusion is vegetal and reminds me of asparagus. The second infusion is much more herbal and has a mint-like flavor. The third infusion is mild and refreshing. I would recommend this tea to anyone who truly appreciates the effort involved in making gyokuro as well as the result. I will be purchasing more pinnacle gyokuro soon.
