Review:
I order lots of different tea from Japan regularly, and Genmaicha is one of my favorites for all-round 'every moment of the day' use. It is often a problem in that the second brew is less tasty as the first, or it easily gets bitter, or the balance between rice and tea flavor is wrong.
I tried the Hibiki-An Genmaicha as an experiment, and was extremely surprised at how perfect it was in balance of tea and rice flavor, and how balanced each brew stays. It is perfect. Hibiki-An seem very proud of their Genmaicha, and now I understand why!
If you are new to Japanese tea, or just looking for a perfect all-round tea that always brews perfectly and easily, this is your ticket!
